What can change in a year.
One year ago today, I was having my spleen removed from my body because it was lacerated by one of the 8 ribs that had broken as a result of my accident. I can’t tell you how lucky I am to be alive today, surrounded by amazing family, friends and colleagues that helped me get through that traumatic experience and back on my feet.
On the heels of the one year anniversary of that event, I am happy to announce that I’ve gotten engaged to the love of my life. Here we are, in all our shmoopie splendor!
